Encourage preorders of Nintendo’s new DSi handheld console.
The third version of the hardware in six years, Nintendo’s DSi was a much harder sell than the two previous models. Encouraging customers to preorder wasn’t going to be easy. So Game commissioned the creation of a video to show the benefits.
I storyboarded the video, supervised filming, and worked with the video designer on the final product. I also appeared in the video itself. (That’s me with the terrible over-acting).
The video was featured prominently on the front page of Game’s Nintendo DSi microsite. This was both merchandised on the Game website, and linked to from the Game newsletter and a targeted email campaign.
