Objective
Create a guide to help UL Solutions employees bring their employer brand to life.

Background
UL Solutions is a US-based market-leader in safety science, producing solutions to some of the B2B and B2C world’s largest safety, security and sustainability challenges. UL commissioned Ph Creative to produce an employer brand. We created three initial routes, and then after a rebrief, three more. The third of those, summed up by the brand essence line ‘At the centre of safety is you,’ was the one they chose. You can see that complete conceptual project here.

The work
After UL purchased their favoured route, I was tasked with writing the brand guidelines deck. This included writing all of the description pages, rewriting pillar copy (including renaming pillar four), defining the nascent tone of voice used in the concept deck, and even creating a bespoke infographic from client-provided statistics.
